The best urgent veterinary experience I have had in a very long time. My dog had a suspected infection, but my vet couldn’t get her in and they recommended urgent paws. Since it wasn’t life-threatening, I felt like I could wait until 3 PM to get in. I was able to reserve my appointment time at 3 PM. Walked right in as soon as they opened and they took me immediately to a room no waiting whatsoever. The facility was very clean and modern and I liked that I could see them pulling my dogs blood work since the patient room doors have a window to see the technician area. The staff was all really friendly. You could tell they really love the dogs they were working on. I was kept informed of the progress and it all went very quickly, believe it or not I was in and out in under two hours. That never happens at an Emergency vet! Prices were about what you can expect to see an Emergency Vet. I don’t hope to be back, but I take great comfort in knowing this practice is available in the community and will be there when I need it. Thank you to the staff for taking great care of my Birdie girl!

Dr Grenus and the team at this urgent care were amazing with my dog Renee. They made me and my dog comfortable and explained everything so clearly and we're very helpful. I 100% would recommend anyone to take there pet to this urgent care.

We took our pup to Urgent Paws for a paw injury, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The entire staff was wonderful. From the vet techs to Dr. Sweitzer, everyone was patient, gentle, and genuinely attuned to our pup's needs. They followed our lead on what would keep her calm while they wrapped her injury, which made all the difference for our anxious pup. Dr. Sweitzer was especially fantastic. She encouraged all our questions and took the time to answer each one thoroughly and clearly. Her explanations were so educational, and you could tell she genuinely cared about our pup's wellbeing. It's so rare to find a vet's office that combines this level of compassion with thoroughness. If we lived nearby, Dr. Sweitzer would absolutely be our go-to vet. Highly recommend!

I took my 17 year old dog named Goofy to be put to sleep. They met us in the parking lot. I had him in a wagon and they pulled him inside to a very comfortable room. I felt at peace the moment we got there. The staff was so compassionate and empathetic. We spent time with him and they gave us a remote that rang the vet to come in to start medication. He had already been prepped with the catheter at the beginning of our visit. The Vet was so empathetic and sweet with Goofy. He treated him as if it were his own. I recommend this urgent care if you care about what type of care your animal receives! I would use them again!!

This is the third time we needed to come here and are pleased with the service every time. The staff and doctors are so caring, respectful and friendly. They go over the plan with you before they proceed and go over the low and high cost of the bill before treating our boy. Will come back for sure.

My son and I came in yesterday to have our dog of 14 years euthanized. I was so impressed with the staff and doctor working when we came in. It is such a horrible time for any family to go through but they were so sensitive to our situation. They made it as bearable as it could possibly be.

Really impressed by this place and the excellent and caring staff. We needed help fast on a Saturday when our regular vet was closed. Kira welcomed us into an examination room right away and took a very thorough history, and then Dr Martinez did a very thorough exam, explaining everything and asking lots of thoughtful questions. Everyone was kind and supportive, yet swift and efficient. The atmosphere of the place is very calm and everyone was caring and supportive. The cost of the medicine was no more than through our regular vet. I would definitely come here again. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this place! I took my shiba inu here because she ate a bunch of lamb bones and they were able to get her to throw it all up. Staff was so nice and the dr was great. If I ever have after hours problem I will only come here

Highly recommended group of caring vets and techs! I had to bring one of my dogs in for a possible UTI. After gathering all the standard information, I was presented with all the treatment options with very clear line items for all the pricing. At no point was I pushed one way or another and they were very transparent. They took great care of my dog (you wouldn't know it based on her screaming, but she's dramatic) in order to perform a bladder aspiration to get a sterile sample. I was sent home with medication and instructions that they would follow up if needed depending on lab culture results. Great group of people working there that actually seem like they're enjoying their jobs. Highly recommended for pet urgent care if your regular vet isn't available!

Grateful. My 3 pup Sola's face started getting welts all over and quickly her entire face swelled up. Her eyes swelled shut. It was Sunday, holiday weekend, day after Sat the 4th of July. Urgent Paws was open and I was able to get Sola in ASAP! Even before formal paperwork, they took care of her, giving her IV and injected antihistamine and steroids to deal with the swelling. They were caring, kind, calm, and gave us the best level of attention. All the assistants/techs were wonderful, especially Sydney. Thank you!!! Prices were almost the same as our regular vet too. Highly recommend this spot! 110%

Thank you to Dr. Strieby, Tatiana, and Kierra at Urgent Paws for taking great care of our Bernedoodle puppy, Teddy. He had a foxtail lodged very deep in his ear and we had no idea what was going on at first. He was crying, shaking his head constantly, and peed himself multiple times from the pain. Really upsetting to see. The entire staff was calm, efficient, and genuinely kind the whole visit. Dr. Strieby was excellent, super thorough and clearly experienced. They also tried to save us extra cost by seeing if they could avoid sedation first, which we appreciated. Thankfully once she got a clear look inside Teddy’s ear, she was able to pull the foxtail out quickly without needing to sedate him. We were shocked by how large /deep it was, and Teddy felt immediately better afterward back to himself. The clinic also has open viewing windows into the treatment area so you can actually see what’s happening while your pet is being treated. Never seen that before at a vet office, made the experience feel a lot less stressful. They also let us stay close to Teddy and comfort him during the process. Tatiana was wonderful too, even has a funny little calming song she and the team sings to the dogs that somehow helps soothe them haha. Also.. compared to emergency vets in Agoura Hills/TO, their pricing felt much more reasonable for urgent care. Also I’m pregnant and started getting nauseous from the stress, and Tatiana immediately ran to the store to get me ginger ale, which was very sweet. Very thankful we found this place, with 3 dogs we will definitely come back for any emergencies! Yall are the best :)

If I could give Urgent Paws a 10 I would! We brought our dog Molly in because we thought her kennel cough was getting worse, but it turns out she had bronchial pneumonia. Dr. Schweitzer and staff were amazing, very personable, and took the time to comfort us and explain everything. Dr. Schweitzer even showed us the x-rays and explained them to us in detail and then called us promptly later that night with the radiologist results.

My elderly chihuahua hurt his paw while taking a walk. We went to Urgent Paws. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and caring. The facility is spotless. We were seen right away and my dog is doing great. Highly recommended.

I don't often find the time to leave reviews, but Dr. Sweitzer was undoubtedly the best vet we have ever encountered. And truly, the entire team was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. We had a very scary experience with our 14-year old dog where he was having very sudden trouble with stability, and couldn't walk far without stumbling over. He also threw up 3 times, and we just couldn't seem to figure out what was happening. After talking through all the symptoms with the team, we were able to determine it was most likely old dog vestibular disease, and in the days that have followed our visit, we're even more certain this is what he's experienced. My partner and I are honestly not sure if our own regular vet would have caught this, and so I cannot explain how grateful we are to Dr. Sweitzer and the team here. Thank you for helping us sleep easy, and feel better equipped to handle our little guy's recovery. If you're wondering where to bring your pet in a moment of panic, bring them here. You won't regret it.

My cat had an unfortunate medical event that lead to my family having to put him down. As hard as it was, this clinic made it easier. They were so kind, so informative, and so empathetic. All the vet techs were some of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met. I didn’t catch all of there names, but I caught one. Sydney: thank you for your kindness and thank you for your hugs. You made all of this just a tad easier and I appreciate how kind you were through it all.
